The story

A trade other businesses kept asking for

South West Apparel started the way a lot of good local businesses do: a trade that other businesses kept asking for. Today it is a working apparel workshop in South West Sydney run by Sam, decorating uniforms, workwear, team wear and merch for tradies, towing operators, cafes, barbers, real estate agents, NDIS providers, gyms, boxing clubs, schools and more.

Embroidery runs on a Ricoma dual-head embroidery machine: two heads, each with a full set of thread colours. Full-colour work is dtf (direct to film) printing, printed and heat-pressed in the same room. Owning the equipment is the whole point. It means a single polo or a top-up of three hoodies is a normal job, not a favour, and the person who quotes your order is the one who checks it before it leaves.

Our customers are our neighbours. The businesses on our showcase page are real South West Sydney companies, and the reviews on Google mention Sam by name because that is who you deal with from the first message to the last box.

We also make our own gear. The OG and SWH streetwear ranges in the shop are decorated on the same machines as our customer work, which keeps us honest about quality: if a hoodie is not good enough to sell under our own name, it is not good enough to carry yours.
